Protocol revenue

Protocol revenue is the protocol's share of GAMA's fees. It is divided between up to eight destinations, called the protocol split.

#Where it comes from

• The creation fee.
• 30% of the curve base fee and of the standard-mode pool fee, including any anti-snipe tax.
• The reward-mode platform fee, plus any part of the holder fee that cannot be given to current holders.
• The pool protocol fee, when it is switched on.
• 30% of released creator buyback-vest.

Payout charges are not protocol revenue. They go to the payout operations address.

#Changing the split

The protocol owner can change the split, up to eight destinations in total. A change applies only to revenue earned after it, including from existing launches. Amounts already credited stay with the destinations they were credited to.
