The GAMA token
GAMA is the token of the GAMA protocol. Part of the fees from every launch buys GAMA and burns it. GAMA was launched on GAMA's own launchpad, on the same terms as any other token.
WARNING
GAMA has not launched on any mainnet. A token presented as GAMA on a mainnet today was not issued by GAMA. The GAMA on GIWA Sepolia is a test token and has no value.
How GAMA was launched
GAMA is an ordinary launch:
- Standard mode, priced in ETH, with the 1% trading fee and no creator tax. Its creator fees, 70% of the trading fee, go to GAMA's treasury.
- The same supply as every launch: 1,000,000,000 tokens, 780,000,000 sold on the curve and 220,000,000 locked in its pool at graduation. No more can ever be created.
- No free allocation. Nobody received GAMA for free. The deployer opened it with an ordinary initial buy of 78,000,000 tokens, 7.8% of the supply, for about 0.2394 test ETH at the normal 1% trading fee, in GAMA's launch transaction.
- The same rules. The same curve, fees and buy limits as any launch, and an address that ends in 100.

To open GAMA's pool for testing, the protocol owner's address, which is exempt from buy limits on the testnet, bought the remaining tokens on sale, about 702,000,000, in one purchase for about 7.64 test ETH including the 1% trading fee: the graduating buy. Since then GAMA trades in its GAMA DEX pool, with its liquidity locked for good.
Each new testnet release deploys a new GAMA at a new address, and the app always shows the current release's GAMA.
Recognising the official GAMA
Anyone can launch a token called GAMA, with the same ticker and a copied logo. Only one address is the GAMA of the current release. The app shows the GAMA seal and an Official badge only for that address, whatever a token's name or image says, and lists it first in search results. Hovering over the badge shows "The official GAMA token of this release."

Supply and burns
GAMA's supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000. Burned GAMA is sent to the dead address, where nobody can move it. The total supply number does not change, so the GAMA page shows the GAMA burned and the GAMA still in circulation separately. See Buyback and burn.
GAMA as a paired asset
Like every launch, GAMA became a paired asset only once it graduated. New launches can be priced in GAMA since block 37,694,055. Their graduation target is 7.8 ETH worth of GAMA at GAMA's price when they are created, at most 25% of GAMA's supply outside the dead address.
