FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask most. Each one links to the article with the full story.
Is test ETH worth anything?
No. GAMA runs only on GIWA Sepolia, a test network, and its ETH and every token on it are for trying things out. Dollar figures in the app are estimates for testing, not what your tokens are worth. Never pay real money for test ETH. See Connect a wallet and get test ETH.
Do I need an account?
No. GAMA has no accounts, logins or passwords. You can look around without a wallet, and you connect one only to trade, launch, add liquidity or claim. See Connect a wallet and get test ETH.
My transaction failed, but I still paid a fee. Why?
A failed transaction still uses the network, and the gas pays for that work. GAMA's own fees are charged only when a trade succeeds, because a failed transaction undoes everything it did. Common reasons are a price that moved beyond your slippage, a buy limit, or a final curve buy that needed more gas to graduate the token. See Slippage and price impact.
Can a transaction be reversed?
No. Once a transaction is in a block, nobody can undo it, GAMA included, and GAMA cannot recover funds sent to a wrong address. Be wary of anyone who offers to "recover" funds for you: it is a common scam. See What GAMA can't do.
Why can't I buy more of a token?
While a token is on its curve, by default one buy can take at most 2% of its supply, and a buy cannot leave your wallet with more than 2%. The app says "Your wallet has reached this token’s buy limit. You can still sell, and the limit ends when the token graduates." See Buy limits.
What happens to my tokens when a launch graduates?
Nothing: you keep them. Trading moves from the curve to the token's canonical pool at the same price, buy limits end, holders of a reward token keep earning, and open orders follow the token into its pool. See Graduation.
The token page says Finish graduation. What do I do?
The curve has sold out but graduation did not finish in the same transaction, so trading is paused. Anyone can press Finish graduation or Complete graduation to finish it, paying only the gas. The funds stay safe in the meantime. See Graduation.
Why hasn't my DCA buy filled?
A market buy waits while the price is more than 3% from its three-minute average, past your price limit, too thin to fill within your slippage, or while network fees are above your limit per fill. The order shows why, for example "Waiting: the price is more than 3% from its average". A buy whose interval ends without a fill is skipped and not made up later. See How orders fill.
Why was my order filled in parts, or together with others?
A buy that would move the price by more than about 1% is split into sub-fills within its interval, shown as "part of N fills". Orders with the same route are filled together in one trade at one price, a batch, shown as "Batch of N orders". Each order pays only its share of the keeper charge. See How orders fill.
When do I receive my rewards or creator earnings?
GAMA pays them automatically, about every five minutes, once at least 0.0005 ETH is left after a charge of 0.000001 ETH or 1%, whichever is lower. You can also claim them yourself at any time with no charge, paying only the gas. See Payouts and claims.
Can GAMA take my tokens, my rewards or the locked liquidity?
No. Nobody at GAMA can move tokens from your wallet, take rewards or earnings already credited to you, freeze a holder or withdraw a launch's locked liquidity. See Administration and trust.
Which GAMA token is the real one?
The one with the seal and the Official badge in the app, at 0x251382E6e4ae836cb07866E111484a5F8259c100 on the current release. Anyone can launch a copy with the same name and logo. See The official seal.
Why can't I add liquidity for a token?
A launch token cannot go into any GAMA DEX pool until it graduates; until then its only market is its curve. The form says "This token is still on its bonding curve; liquidity opens when it graduates." See Pools and positions.
Where are my tokens from an earlier test release?
Until GAMA's public testnet launch, each new test release replaces the previous one, and launches and orders of a retired release no longer appear in the app. From the public testnet launch on, an older release stays reachable from the footer link Older version: your tokens and orders. See Network status.
Is GAMA on mainnet?
No. GIWA mainnet is not live, and a GAMA mainnet release has its own list of conditions, none of them complete yet. See Network status.
How do I contact GAMA?
Write to contact@gama.win, or follow GAMA on X. Nobody from GAMA will message you first or ask for your seed phrase. See Scams and fake sites.
