Creator earnings
A standard launch pays its creator a share of every trade, in the paired asset, from the first trade on the curve to every trade in the pool after graduation. GAMA sends it to you automatically. This page explains what you earn, how it reaches you, and how the right to receive it can move to another wallet.
What you earn
On a standard launch you receive, on every buy and every sell:
- 70% of the 1% trading fee, which is 0.7% of the trade;
- your creator tax, if you set one, in full.
For example, with a 2% creator tax, a trade of 0.1 test ETH earns you 0.0007 + 0.002 = 0.0027 test ETH. Everything is paid in the launch's paired asset, so an ETH launch pays you in ETH. None of it is held back or used to buy your own token.
A reward-mode launch pays no creator fee at any stage. Its creator earns only as a holder; see Holder rewards.
Who receives it
Your earnings go to the launch's payout wallet: the address set under Advanced when you created the launch, or your connected wallet if you left it empty. Portfolio calls it the Fee wallet, and the token page shows it as Creator under Token information. GAMA's fee contract can never be a payout wallet.
How it reaches you
Each fee is credited to the payout wallet in GAMA's fee contract at the moment of the trade. From there:
- Automatically. About every five minutes, GAMA pays your whole balance to the payout wallet once at least 0.0005 ETH would arrive. Each automatic payment deducts a payout charge: the lower of 0.000001 ETH and 1% of the payment. For ETH that is 0.000001 ETH a payment, never more than 1%.
- By claiming. You can claim your balance yourself at any time in Portfolio under Creator earnings, with no charge and no minimum. You pay only the gas.
Fees from curve trades and fees from pool trades are held in two places, the GAMA fee contract and GAMA DEX, and are paid separately. See Payouts and claims and Creator controls and earnings.
Redirecting your fees
The current payout wallet can hand creator rights to another wallet at any time: Portfolio, Creator controls, Redirect fee wallet.
- The change takes effect at once. All future creator fees go to the new wallet.
- Fees already earned stay with the old wallet, to be paid out or claimed as before.
- The token's creator controls move to the new wallet too. Only the new wallet can redirect the fees again, so check the address carefully.
WARNING
A redirect cannot be undone from the old wallet. If you send creator rights to an address you do not control, you lose all future creator fees of that token.
Forced replacement
GAMA's admin can move a launch's creator rights to a new wallet, for example after the creator has disappeared and the community has taken the token over. The rules are fixed in the contracts:
- The admin proposes the new wallet. The proposal is public on chain from that moment.
- After three days, anyone can carry out the change.
- If nobody does within the following three days, the proposal expires.
The admin can cancel a proposal while it is pending. Redirecting the fees yourself does not cancel it. A replacement moves only future fees: what you have already earned stays yours, and nobody, the admin included, can take it.
While a replacement is planned, your token's card in Creator controls shows Planned creator change, with the window in which it can happen and the New creator wallet.
