What GAMA can't do
GAMA is software: contracts on GIWA Sepolia and an app that helps you use them with your own wallet. That makes it useful for trading, launching and earning, and no help at all for undoing a transaction or recovering funds. This page sets out both sides.
What GAMA can do
- Show you prices, quotes, fees and the exact terms of every launch before you sign anything.
- Prepare transactions for you to check and sign in your own wallet.
- Show your holdings, rewards, earnings, positions and orders, with a link to each transaction on Gamascan.
- Pay out rewards and earnings automatically, fill your orders through its keepers and run the GAMA buyback, within the limits the contracts set.
What GAMA can't do
- Reverse or cancel a transaction. On GIWA a transaction is in a block within about a second, and from then on nobody can undo it, GAMA included. A trade at a bad price stays at that price.
- Recover funds sent to a wrong address, or held by a wallet whose seed phrase is lost.
- Hold your funds. GAMA never has your keys and cannot move anything from your wallet. Funds for your orders sit in your own order vault, which only you and the order's own rules can move. Fees you have earned wait in the fee escrow, credited to you alone.
- Take what you have. Nobody at GAMA can withdraw a curve's funds or a launch's locked liquidity, take rewards or earnings already credited, or freeze or block a holder.
- Change a launch after it is created. Its supply, curve, pair token, fees, buy limits and mode are fixed for good.
- Vouch for a token. Anyone can launch a token, and GAMA reviews none of them. Only GAMA's own token carries the official seal.
- Promise prices, fills or payouts. A price can fall to nearly zero. An order fills only within its own terms, and a buy whose interval ends unfilled is skipped. Automatic payouts depend on GAMA's operators; you can always claim yourself.
- Run GIWA. GAMA runs on the GIWA network but does not operate it, its bridge or its faucets, and cannot speed up or undo anything there.
WARNING
Anyone who offers to recover, unfreeze or reverse a transaction, for a fee or in return for your seed phrase, is running a scam, whoever they say they are.
Limits on GAMA's own powers
GAMA has one protocol owner, a single key on the testnet. It can change settings for future launches, pause the creation of new launches, manage pair tokens, venues and keepers, and use a few live powers over existing launches, such as fee and buy-limit exemptions and a creator replacement after three days' public notice. It cannot do any of the things listed above. The full list, and the powers you are trusting, are in Administration and trust.
Test ETH has no value
GAMA runs only on GIWA Sepolia, GIWA's test network (chain ID 91342). Its ETH is test ETH, and every token on it is a test token: none of them has any value. A dollar figure in the app is an estimate for testing, not what your tokens are worth. Never pay real money for test ETH or for a token on GIWA Sepolia.
